Maggie Poulos - Founder
With over 25 years experience within the music industry, Maggie Poulos currently helms Mixtape Media, LLC – a boutique public relations firm specializing in music, arts and entertainment. She has a proven track record of increasing public awareness of clients and their projects via individual, targeted, and strategized press campaigns. Telling stories is paramount and Maggie helps each project highlight its unique, interesting, and newsworthy traits. Over the course of her career, campaigns include: The Philly Specials (Jason Kelce, Jordan Mailata, Lane Johnson), WXPN, Philly Music Fest, Philadelphia Folk Fest, Fitz and the Tantrums, Spacehog, Nicki Bluhm and the Gramblers, Robert Plant & Alison Krauss’ Raising Sand, Pink Martini, CAKE, Minnie Driver, Helmet, Charlie Hall (The War On Drugs), Eliza Hardy Jones (The War On Drugs), David Poe, Duncan Sheik, Brendan James, Caiola, Greg Sover, and many other independent artists. Additionally, she has run campaigns for Tracy Viola's memoir, Pretty Wrecked, Storm Large’s memoir Crazy Enough, guitar manufacturer, First Act and independent films Platinum Rush and Mott Music. Maggie's favorites are Fleetwood Mac, Jenny Lewis, Jeff Buckley, Stars, Tori Amos, Grateful Dead, Ida, PJ Harvey, Missy Elliott, Nina Simone, Sade, Madonna, Hall & Oates, A Tribe Called Quest, and the Innocence Mission (subject to change). Her favorite guitar is a 2015 Fender Jaguar and her favorite synth is a Roland Juno-60. She lives in suburban Philadelphia with her daughter and their three cats. ![]() |
